Full Time Sales Associate

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work in a medium to fast-paced retail environment. As a sales associate, you will assist customers in finding the right products, provide knowledgeable advice, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing product information and recommendations based on their needs.
- Sales: Drive sales through engaging customers and promoting store promotions and loyalty programs.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest sporting goods and equipment, including features, benefits, and appropriate usage.
- Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and displays are attractive and functional.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, handle cash, and maintain accurate records.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing, including tidying up shelves, fitting rooms, and other areas as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to achieve store goals, participate in team meetings, and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Problem Solving: Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively, escalating to management when necessary.
- Safety and Security: Follow all safety and security guidelines to protect customers, staff, and merchandise.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous retail experience, preferably in sporting goods or a related field preferred but not required.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of various sports and sporting equipment.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Attitude: Positive, enthusiastic, and proactive with a passion for sports and fitness.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends (Saturdays) as needed.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with stocking and organizing merchandise.

Team Sales Coordinator

Responsibilities:
The Team Sales Coordinator will be responsible, but not limited to, for the following duties:
• Decorates garments using heat-press application including apparel, numbers, namebars
• Orders decoration supplies (numbers, letters, namebars) as required
• Picks and prepares orders for decoration – either in-house or for 3rd party
• Packs completed orders for pick-up/delivery
• Assists with general team inventory management which may include:
o Ordering product and logo transfers
o Counting and receiving incoming items for orders
o General inventory management including organizing and labelling in-stock items
o Pricing and merchandising items on the floor for retail and team room for display
• Assists with inside sales and customer service when necessary
Periodically, management and the candidate will meet to review the position and any changes or adjustments that may be required for the position.

Other duties may include:
• Delivery and pick-up of orders to 3rd-party suppliers and customers
• Logo creation and design
• Creation and/or maintenance of online stores
• Participation in other store initiatives when necessary such as VIP/sizing nights

Preferred Requirements:
The Team Sales Coordinator should possess the following skills or abilities; or a willingness to learn:
• Previous decorating experience or experience operating a heat-press considered an asset
• Attention to detail is a must in order to minimize errors and maintain a high-quality of product and service
• Possess an outgoing personality, ability to work well with others, and strong interpersonal skills
• Understanding of the team sports landscape and the ability to stay on top of trends

Compensation:
Remuneration will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
