Full-Time Sales Associate / Social Media Coordinator

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Weekdays, evenings (Thursdays and/or Fridays), and Saturdays

We are a customer-focused sporting goods retailer dedicated to helping athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, and active families find the right gear for their lifestyle. We pride ourselves on knowledgeable service, strong community connections, and a passion for sports and recreation.

We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing, and creative team member to join us as a Sales Associate / Social Media Coordinator. This role combines in-store customer service with digital marketing and social media management to help grow our brand both online and in-store.

Responsibilities

Sales Associate Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service and product recommendations
• Assist customers with sporting goods, apparel, footwear, and equipment purchases
• Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising, and visual displays
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems
• Help manage inventory, restocking, and receiving shipments
• Stay informed on product knowledge, promotions, and seasonal trends
• Support store events, sales, and community initiatives

Social Media Coordinator Duties

• Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms
• Take photos and videos of products, promotions, and in-store events
• Plan and schedule social media posts and campaigns
• Respond to messages, comments, and customer inquiries online
• Assist with email marketing and promotional materials
• Monitor social media performance and engagement metrics
• Help grow brand awareness and community engagement

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for sports, fitness, or outdoor activities
• Comfortable using social media platforms for business purposes
• Basic photography/video editing skills are an asset
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Experience with Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools is an asset
